The Separation between State and Religion

In time we will realize that Democracy is the entitlement of individuals to every right that was in its times alloted to kings. The right to speak and decide, to be treated with decency, to serve and be served by people in a State of “love” that is, to serve with one’s work for the development of ‘life’. To belong to the Kingdom of Human Beings without racial, national, social or academic separations. To love and be loved. To die at the service of the whole and be honored in one’s death, for one’s life and work was legitimately valued. To be graceful and grateful. To have the pride and the humility of being One with the Universe, One with every realm of Existence, One with every living and deceased soul. To treat with dignity and be treated with dignity for One is dignified together with All others and Life itself. To walk the path of compassion, not in the sorrow of guilt but in the pride of being. To take responsability for one’s mistakes and sufferings and stand up again and again like a hero and a heroine and face the struggle that is put at one’s feet and in one’s hands. Millions of people, millions and millions of people might take many generations to realize the consciousness of our humaneness but there is no other dignified path for the human being.

The “work” as I conceive it is psychological and political. Psychology is the connection between the different dimensions within one’s self and Politics is the actualization of that consciousness in our practical lives. Religion is the ceremony that binds the connectedness between the individual and the Universe. The separation between religion, politics and science, the arts and sports is, in the sphere of the social, the reflection of the schizophrenia within the individual and the masses. The dialogue between individuality and the "human" belongs to consciousness. The tendency to develop cults resides in the shortcomings we’are finding in life as it is structured today. “Life” has become the private property of a few priviledged who cannot profit from it because as soon as it is appropriated it stops to be “life” or “life-giving”.

We are all the victims of our own invention and each one is called upon to find solutions. The only problem is believing our selves incapable of finding them. We are now free to use all Systems of knowledge objectively, sharing them without imposing our will on each other. To become objective about our lives means to understand that the institutions that govern its experience are critically important. That we are one with the governments, one with the religious activities that mark its pace, that the arena’s in which we move our bodies and the laboratories in which we explore our possibilities are ALL part and parcel of our own personal responsibility. That WE ARE ONE WITH EACH OTHER AND EVERYTHING AROUND US and acknowledge for ourselves a bond of love in conscious responsibility. That we human beings know ourselves part of each other and are willing and able to act on our behalf for the benefit of each and every individual. That we no longer allow governments, industries, universities or any other institution to run along unchecked by the objective principles of humaneness. That we do not allow gurus to abuse their power or governors to steal the taxes and use them to their personal advantage in detriment of the whole. That we do not allow abuse from anyone anywhere because life is too beautiful to do so and that we are willing to stop the rampant crime with the necessary compassion Conscious knowledge is every individual's right. Conscious action is every individual's duty.

Bulls eye!!

Dearest black one,

I appreciate your soul but it is not us against them even though we've fought our souls and often lost. I sincerely feel that the FOF blog today is wonderful! I enjoy the normal tone of speech. Just people talking with each other at ease. THAT is wonderful! I'm also delighted that in the meantime they are working on whatever, to get laws passed that will perhaps make sexual abuse in California less easy. You and I might perceive a lot of things that are worth perceiving and I'm so very glad that at least one and a few more do but just as we perceive a great deal more in some areas, we fail to perceive a lot in others and that's fine too.  I have no reason to complain and personally find it all just right. Like a piece of furniture that doesn't fit in the box I've been left out and it's not because there's anything wrong with the box or the furniture but because there's no longer any room for it and neither does the furniture wish to become smaller nor can the box become bigger. I was as sick of trying to fit as they of pushing me out!

I remember that paragraph that you quoted very well and stand behind it every bit of the way and thank you so much for hearing it and yet they are all "acting" all they can, I don't ask for more. If I were there perhaps I'd give a few more kicks and screams because it's always good to kick and scream so that we move but not being there is just as good! Don't you find it delightful how even Bruce has changed? He's not "fucking off" anybody as easily as before and if that's not already a great achievement what is? You must understand that I sincerely like Bruce even though I'm equally delighted to know where I radically disagree with him.

You and I might have called for action but it's so easy to call for action when one is thousands of miles away from the scene! You've no idea how good that excuse is to not have to go up there to the pile and have to stand outside with a sign telling those people modeling in and out with tuxedos that they are sick pimps of the worst kind! Five year old children looking for mom and dad in a sick sociopath! Two days ago I took a look at the part in us that laid itself out in the hands of what we hoped was a true enlightened being like naked five year old children and it's impossible for me to hurt that. It would be like hurting a puppy or a fluffy little yellow chic. What's so amazing is that Robert always managed to win because "STUDENTS" were so way off the track that whatever we did he could photograph as just being so blatantly off and was right, is right. I bet you he's even more amazed than the rest of us that even though eight hundred of us have left and at least a few are saying watch, watch out, fifteen hundred of us are still polishing his shoes and washing the semen off his silk ties.

I don't know black one, (allow me to take the little off because you're a fully grown man and I much appreciate the maturity of your being without the cuteness) any legal movement is good and picketing too when one's got the nerve but there's something much more needed than either one and it's got a lot to do with the capacity to embrace every single darkness with transparency: One's own as much as that of others including Robert's. The difficulty today seems to be that a lot of greater Fellowship people are not embracing the darkness but justifying it and instead of helping members they condemn them to remain in the trap; they help them believe that the trap is really not that bad.

Is that what you're referring to in relation to the FOF blog? Of course I agree with you and am happy to stand with what I preach but it doesn't bother me at all that they talk nicely to each other! It's taken someone like Bruce two and a half years to move from being the bullshit meter to being a legitimate participant with something to say! Why would that ever bother anyone? Don't you remember that at the beginning we had to get rid of actual rats crawling on the table?

So why would you wish to fight people with whom we've shared a couple of years of our lives? It's one thing to bear them fighting with me but don't ask me to also fight with them! I try not to waste my time fighting with people when it's with ideologies what I don't agree with and the fact that mine doesn't yet fit in the box does not make it any less fit for me to live with it and all its consequences.

I thank you for being here. You sincerely surprise me! Your capacity to jump back and forth perceiving both greatness and stupidity with almost unequivocal delight shocks me positively and you've managed to remain and leave which even I could not have done!

I continue to thank you for the variety of your posts, your poems and your often mature vision. Have you noticed how much more "leveled" you've also become?

    Hi Elena

    Funny you should say 'levelled'! I am actually taking less medication these days - the 'docs' have obviously realised the teaching/making at my workshop is 'the leveller' and allow me what I like to call my 'little quivering above level' (it is actually mild hypo-mania). This night/morning (you will probably look at the time relative to GMT to see that I am posting at just before 3am our time) I went through all my paper files in the cabinet, since I could not sleep and remained close to both FOF Discussion and Battlesword. You are also right that, when I do experience 'highs' these days, I do not 'poem plaster', call myself the Absolute, man number 8, angel number 45 etc.(Ames chided me for stating I was a Celtic Super-Hero!) See, the thing is, I am happy as myself - wee nigey - with my friends, my students and my loving family. You may also like to know that, when I looked up the definition of my name, it said - dim. black - I thought "Ah, yes! Stupid and dark." Silly me! Love to you, Elena, and I will keep contributing to both sites....BO.
